Professional Biography
Treyton Blackburn is the Community Arts Agent for the Fayette County Cooperative Extension Service. Treyton obtained his bachelor's degree in Theatre from the University of Kentucky in 2019 and has since worked with many arts-based non-profit organizations as an artist and administrator. His connections to Cooperative Extension run deep, having grown up as a member of Pike County's Community Arts program. Treyton has been with Extension in a professional capacity since 2022 when he began his tenure in Woodford County as an All-Program Areas Assistant.
Treyton is passionate about the ability of the arts to build multi-generational, supportive, sustainable communities. His specialties include: theatre directing, clowning, mask performance, puppetry, adaptation, and playwriting.
Outside the office, Treyton loves to lounge at home with his wife Tara and their cat Luna.
