Business Retention & Expansion Program
This program provides a better understanding of the local business climate through in-depth surveys of business owners.
The Business Retention and Expansion Program is a community-based program that engages communities to examine the local business situation, interpret the information collected and purposefully plan to strengthen the ability of the community to understand local business needs and to positively respond. BR&E participants organize a planning committee, identify local business participants, conduct interviews and respond to opportunities that result from the interviews.
Blueprint Kentucky supports communities throughout the process, including developing the interview guide, analyzing the results of the interviews, writing the final reports and helping to present the results to the greater community. In addition, our BR&E team can assist community planning developed from the data and conversation identified in the business survey.
